Terms of service
1. Agreement
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of products and services from astridstorstein.no. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. The Parties
The seller is Astrid Storstein, Myrsnipeveien 5, 9803 Vadsø, Norway, organization number 932780852, hereinafter referred to as the Seller.
The buyer is the consumer placing the order and is hereinafter referred to as the Buyer.
3. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are stated in NOK and include applicable taxes where required. Additional costs that have not been clearly stated before purchase shall not be borne by the Buyer.
4. Order Confirmation
The agreement becomes binding when the Buyer has completed the order. The Seller reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of pricing errors, technical issues or obvious mistakes.
5. Payment
Payment is processed securely through Stripe and Vipps. Payment may be reserved at the time of purchase and charged when the order is completed.
6. Delivery
Digital products are delivered immediately after purchase via email or download link.
Physical products, including original artworks and limited edition prints, are shipped from Norway. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and carrier.
Shipping costs are paid by the Buyer. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes or other fees required by their country.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Certain products are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal. This includes digital products that are delivered immediately after purchase.
By purchasing digital products, the Buyer agrees that delivery begins immediately and thereby waives the right of withdrawal. Purchases of PDF files are therefore non-refundable.
Due to the limited nature of original artworks and limited edition prints, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted unless required by applicable consumer laws.
8. Damaged Items
If an artwork or print arrives damaged, please contact astrid.storstein@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the damage. The Seller will do their best to replace the artwork or provide appropriate compensation.
9. Copyright
All content on astridstorstein.com, including artwork, prints, PDF files, text, images and designs, is protected by copyright and international intellectual property laws.
Purchasing an artwork, print or digital product does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. All rights remain with the Seller.
Digital products are intended for personal use only and may not be copied, shared or resold.
10. Seller's Rights in Case of Buyer's Breach
If the Buyer fails to fulfill their obligations under the agreement, the Seller may withhold delivery, demand payment, cancel the agreement and claim compensation in accordance with applicable laws.
11. Defects and Complaints
If a product is defective, the Buyer must notify the Seller within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.

12. Dispute Resolution
The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not possible, disputes shall be governed by Norwegian law.
